‘LEARNING through MUSIC’

This session will help all early childhood educators or parents become more confident and gain knowledge about implementing music throughout their everyday activities.

Learn how to plan and contribute to the development of all children through singing, movement and playing percussion instruments. All teaching staff can be trained, become confident and be able to deliver the music program to EVERY CHILD… EVERY DAY!

 LEARNING OUTCOMES

  • Understand the foundation and basic concepts of music
  • Use Kodaly and Orff methods to stimulate children’s social, intellectual and emotional growth.
  • Gain practical strategies to create a smooth transition of daily routines and activities
  • Promote a sense of community, multicultural and social identity
  • Develop a love of music, creativity, life skills and fun through singing, dancing and playing percussion instruments

WELLBEING PRACTICES for LIFE’

As awareness of the positive effects of yoga and meditation continues to grow, this session will help all early childhood educators or parents understand the benefits of sustainable wellbeing practices, become more confident and gain knowledge about implementing wellbeing practices in their everyday life.

Throughout the “Wellbeing Practices for Life!” session participants will experience for themselves the inner tools required to discover the power of the mind and body. They will be able to relax, unwind and bring their physical, mental and emotional elements into balance.This interactive and hands-on session engages all participants in breathing exercises and simple yoga routines.Yoga and Meditation are beneficial for all. So, if you want to create health, happiness and balance in your life, come and join this session! LEARNING OUTCOMES
  • Develop a better understanding of sustainable wellbeing practices
  • Slow down, calm the mind and body through relaxation and meditation techniques
  • Demonstrate practical examples of warm-up exercises and a series of yoga postures (asanas)
  • Introduce and implement simple breathing exercises (pranayama) and techniques
  • Involve and engage in the development of personal and children’s well-being
  • Promote well-being habits in an engaging and stimulating environment
  • Release your positive (or negative) emotions
  • Unite and bond with your group
